SoFi Stadium: Getting There from Hawthorne

SoFi Stadium is in Inglewood, south of Hawthorne, at 1001 S. Stadium Drive. From El Rancho Inn, it’s about a 13-minute drive by car. You could pair an event at the stadium with another nearby venue, the Kia Forum.

Use the stadium’s address when planning your trip, but confirm the event’s directions and parking zone before leaving. If you drive, your parking pass assigns the access point you must use; vehicles entering through another zone’s entrance will be turned around.

SoFi Stadium’s events page offers scheduled events with “Buy Tickets” and “More Info” options. Open the listing for your event to check its current details.

Parking charges and arrangements depend on the event. Event-specific parking fees are announced as tickets go on sale, and parking prices may increase when purchased at the event. The stadium encourages guests to buy parking online in advance.

Public tours are also available; the stadium directs guests to its Tours page for details and tickets. For a separate event venue in the area, the Kia Forum visitor guide covers its tickets and event basics.

Event-day transport depends on the event, and NFL guidance differs from the arrangements for concerts and other games. The stadium directs guests to its Plan Your Visit page for transportation, rideshare, parking and maps. Check that page alongside your event listing before choosing how to travel.

Driving and parking

For NFL events, onsite parking is extremely limited. The stadium directs guests without a parking pass to alternatives that include Inglewood Park & Go, public transportation, GTrans, Torrance Transit and Culver CityBus. You need a parking pass to use stadium parking; without one, you will be turned away and directed to offsite options.

Enter through the access point assigned to your parking zone. There is no event street parking within Hollywood Park, and event parking is not permitted in Inglewood residential neighborhoods. Stadium and Hollywood Park lots typically close one hour after an event ends, but your event parking pass gives the event-specific hours.

For more on the nearby venue’s event-day arrangements, the Kia Forum parking guide explains its lots and access checks.

Public transportation for NFL events

For NFL events, Metro riders can take the C or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center Station. A game-day shuttle runs from Bus Bay 8 to SoFi Stadium.

GTrans Line 7X runs every Sunday for NFL games from Harbor Gateway Transit Center. Parking there is free, and the round-trip ride to the stadium costs $4. Torrance Transit costs $4 round trip, and Culver CityBus Line 99 Express costs $2 round trip for NFL visitors.

SoFi Stadium is a Clear Bag Policy venue, and guests are subject to searches of their person and possessions before entry. Bag rules may vary by event, so check your event’s policy; bags that exceed it must be returned to a vehicle or checked at a bag valet for a fee.

Outside beverages are generally not permitted. Exceptions include one factory-sealed water bottle of 20 ounces or less, a soft-sided single juice or milk container, and medically required liquids in a sealed container.

Accessible parking is available for each event. If you need close parking, tell the attendant when you arrive; accommodation depends on availability. The stadium’s A-Z Guide locates an adult changing station on Level 6 near Section 329 and Elevator 8.

Plan around event opening times

For NFL events, parking lots open 4 to 5 hours before kickoff and entry gates open 2 to 3 hours before kickoff. For concerts and non-NFL games, lots open 3 to 4 hours before the event and gates open 1 to 2 hours before it. Check your event details for exact entry times.

Before you go: Stadium policies and event details can change. Check the official site before you go, including the event listing and the stadium’s Plan Your Visit page.
